Commissioned by Faena Miami and launched during Art Basel Miami in December 2016, this mini serie of 7 powerful clutches is the result of a unique collaboration and effort to create artworks charged with meaning and symbolism. The specially commissioned textiles were embroidered on silk by Minagkabau women, in the West Sumatran mountains, using real gold thread from Japan.
